When enabling IBM Gift Center on Windows 2000, you encounter an "The input line is too long" error message.

When enabling IBM Gift Center on Windows 2000, you encounter an "The input line is too long" error message.

Complete the following steps:

Open a command prompt session.
Create a pointer to the WAS_installdir . For example, type the following command: subst z: d:\ RAD_installdir\runtimes\base_v6
Navigate to the WAS_installdir /wasprofile/bin directory and back up the setupCmdLine.bat file.
Open the setupCmdLine.bat file in a text editor.
Search the file for the WAS_HOME entry and update the path to the new pointer that you have created. For example, " z:\".
Search the file for the JAVA_HOME entry and update the path to the new pointer that you have created. For example, " z:\java".
Save the changes and exit.
Restore you configuration and enable IBM Gift Center.
