- Configuring Web Reports
  Web Reports is used whenever you want to view BigFix data that is spread over multiple databases in your deployment.
- Using the Program
  The Web Reports interface is simple and straightforward.

  The Explore Data section of the program allows you to look at data collected from your entire BigFix network to filter it, and to create reports.

  The Report List section of the program is accessed by clicking the appropriate tab from the top tab bar.

  - Scheduled Activities
    The Schedule section allows you to run reports at a given time or when certain conditions are met.
  - Filter Management
    Filters are used to customize reports, allowing you to highlight any particular subset of the database.
  - Address Book
    The Address Book section allows you to configure the email server settings, and to edit your list of email addresses.
  - User Management
    The User Management page allows you to add, delete, and edit the properties of your web users.
  - Datasource Settings
    You can manage the datasources from which Web Reports aggregates information.
    - Add New Datasource
      This page allows you to add a new datasource for aggregation by Web Reports.
    - Edit Datasource
      This page allows you to edit the settings for a selected datasource (to the left of the row).
  - Errors
    This page is available by selecting Administration > Errors. It shows any current errors based on the last action taken.
- Tasks for advanced users
  Tasks unlikely to be needed by the typical user, but which can be of use to advanced users with specific customization needs.

Add New Datasource

This page allows you to add a new datasource for aggregation by Web Reports.

To reach this page, select Administration > Datasource Settings > Add New Datasource.

Datasource Name: Enter a descriptive name for this new datasource.

URL: Enter the URL of the root server to which to connect. The URL must also include the appropriate port number.

Master Operator Credentials: Enter the Master Operator credentials. These credentials are used only once, and are not saved.

Note: In case you have defined multiple datasources for aggregation by Web Reports, all datasources must have Enhanced Security at the same level: a mixed condition is not managed.
