Enforcing the Offline Patch Window task

After the patch window schedule has been set, the second part of the offline patching workflow involves enforcing the Offline Patch Window task. To do this, from the console, navigate to the Systems Lifecycle Domain. From the navigation tree, navigate to Virtual Endpoint Management > Offline Patching > Enforce Offline Patch Window.

The Offline Patch Window task executes the schedule of the power down of a machine, based on what value is set. The client checks if the BigFix actions are running. The client waits until all the actions are complete before the machine turns off. When the proxy agent sees the machine is off, the proxy agent will move to the next machine on the list.
