Downloading Harvesting tool results in BigFix Inventory

The Software Data Harvesting Tool results for a selected computer can be downloaded along with the Computer Support Data. Before collecting harvested data in BigFix Inventory, ensure that "Run Software Data Harvesting Tool" has been completed on the endpoints on which it has been run.

To download data, perform the steps:​
  1. Log in to BigFix Inventory and go to Reports > Computers.​

  2. Select the name of the computer from which you want to collect the Harvesting Tool results, and then click Computer > Support Data.​

  3. Basic Support Data includes the HarvestedData_<timestamp>.zip package that is placed at sha1_files directory.​
  4. To review Harvester logs, request supplementary data. It includes the complete <BigFix Client>\LMT\HARVESTER_TOOL directory​. For more information, see Collecting logs for troubleshooting purposes.

Note: It is recommended to run "Supplementary Data Collection" option under Help menu (collecting all packages) by default.
