Troubleshooting IIS

Some required IIS components are missing

The configuration wizard will detect any missing IIS components that are required and open a message telling you which ones need to be installed before you can continue configuration.

The default website is missing

The default website in IIS is required for AppScan® Enterprise to work. During configuration it uses the default website, and if it has been removed for any reason, the configuration wizard will detect that it is missing and issue an error message.

Procedure

Open IIS from Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services.
Right-click Web Sites and use the wizard to create a new website called Default Web Site. Use all the default setting that the wizard suggests.
