Installing Unica Discover involves planning and preparing your environment, installing and configuring prerequisite software, obtaining the Unica Discover installation files, and running the Unica Discover installer.

System Requirements

Note: Before you begin upgrading the Unica Discover Network Capture Application, verify that you have the correct packages installed. See "Installation" in the Unica Discover Network Capture Application Manual.

Note: If your DNCA is set to decrypt SSL traffic, verify that your existing SSL keys are compatible with the version of DNCA that you are installing. If you are using the wrong keys, then the DNCA cannot decrypt SSL traffic and data is not available in Discover. See "Installation" in the Unica Discover Network Capture Application Manual.
