This topic shows how to edit a workstation definition.

About this task

The purpose of the following scenario is to show how to edit a workstation in the context of an example.

The scope of this scenario is to edit the name and the time zone of a workstation after the location of that workstation changes. The existing workstation is in New York and its name is NEWYORK1. The current time zone is America/New_York - Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5:00). The company decides to move that workstation to Rome, so the name and the time zone must change accordingly.

Procedure

From the Design menu, click Workload Designer page, and then select the engine.
In Explore area, click the workstation card.
Select the workstation NEWYORK1 and click Edit:
1. In Name, type ROME1.
2. From the Time zone menu, select Europe/Rome - Central European Time (GMT +1:00).
Save.

Results

You edited the name of a workstation and its related time zone.
