Page Setup (Java print mode)

This help page is for the Page Setup window that appears when you click File > Print Screen Setup > Page Setup.

You can access the Page Setup window only if:

  • You are running a 3270 Display, 5250 Display, VT Display, or CICS Gateway session.
  • You are using a Java 2-enabled browser.

The Page Setup window allows you to configure page options for Java print mode. To learn more about Java print mode see Non-Java print mode and Java print mode.

Paper

Select the paper size and source:

  • Size Expand the listbox and select a paper size.
  • Source Expand the listbox and select a paper source.

Orientation

Select the page orientation, either Portrait or Landscape.

When you change the page orientation, the printer swaps the Top and Bottom margins with the Left and Right margins.

Margins

Type the size of the margins in the units given:

  • Left: the distance between the left edge of the paper and the left side of the printed area.
  • Right: the distance between the right edge of the paper and the right side of the printed area.
  • Top: the distance between the top edge of the paper and the top of the printed area.
  • Bottom: the distance between the bottom edge of the paper and the bottom of the printed area.
Z and I Emulator for Web cannot set margins on the Linux platform due to a limitation in the JRE for Linux.
