How do I verify my connection to the license server?

Quick steps to verify your connection to the license server is up and running

After setting up and configuring the license server, it is a good practise to check periodically the status of the connections and the number of jobs being sent to the server to be counted. A timely intervention can prevent your license being suspended.

To verify if the connection to the license server is working correctly, log in to the Dynamic Workload Console, and click on the bell icon in the upper right side of the panel.

A small panel with title License management is displayed, showing the following information:
Engine
Displays the name of the engine you are logged in to.
Uncounted jobs
Displays the number of jobs not yet counted by the license server. If the number is higher than 0, there are pending jobs that must be sent to the license server. Check if an error message is present and take the suggested corrective actions. HCL Workload Automation tries resending the jobs every 60 minutes.
Last connection
Displays the date when the engine last connected to the license server. Ensure the date is more recent than 14 days. If the last connection date is older than 14 days, your license is blocked temporarily and you need to contact product support.
Message
Displays the error message, if any. Check the message and take the suggested corrective actions.
