Changing DB2® passwords

To change passwords used by DB2® other than the TWS_user password or the passwords of the user IDs used by HCL Workload Automation to access the database (see Changing key HCL Workload Automation passwords) follow the instructions in the DB2® documentation.

After you have changed the password, modify the db.password parameter in the datasource_db2.xml configuration file, as described in Changing the properties for the database. You can optionally encrypt the password, as described in Encrypting passwords (optional).
