Controlling system

A controlling system requires both a tracker and controller. If you install only one system, this is the controlling system. The controlling system can communicate with controlled z/OS® systems using the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), cross-system coupling facility (XCF), network communication function (NCF), and shared DASD.
