Installing reports

For the reporting feature, Marketing Operations integrates with HCL® Cognos®, a separate business intelligence application.

Reporting relies on the following components:

• An HCL Cognos installation that meets the requirements that are specified in Recommended Software Environments and Minimum System Requirements.
• A set of HCL® Marketing Software components that integrate the HCL system with the HCL Cognos installation.
• The example reports for the Marketing Operations application, which are built with HCL Cognos Report Studio.

Marketing Platform provides the HCL side of the reporting integration. To finish installing reporting, you run all of the following report package installers on the HCL Cognos system:

• HCL
• HCL Marketing Platform
• HCL Marketing Operations
