Procedure
- Select Add/Remove Column.
- Select or Deselect the fields that you want to add or remove. Click Reset Default if you want to view default fields.
-
Click Apply to save the selection.
Note:
- User can add new fields in Data Definition even if it is in use. Also, Journey allows adding new fields to Data Definitions even if the Data definition is in use.
- If a Data Definition is in use by a Journey, and if you add any extra fields to the Data Definition, to see the new data in a Published Kafka topic, Published CSV file, and Published Kafka Entry Source, pause and republish the Journey associated with the Data Definition.
- In Kafka entry source, if any external source is configured with any data definition, and if user wants to configure new data definition with the external source, then some mapping will be shown as configured. User needs to reconfigure these Journeys and CIF source mapping fields.
- Once an audience type is used for configuration, then it cannot be used again for other configurations. While configuring CIF if one audience type is used, then same audience type cannot be used again in the same entry source.
