Verifying the Unica Interact installation

You must verify whether Unica Interact is correctly installed by confirming that you can access the interactive channels and the Unica Interact runtime URL.

Procedure

  1. To verify that the Unica Interact design time environment is installed, log in to the Unica console and confirm that you can access Campaign > Interactive Channels.
  2. Complete the following steps to verify that the Unica Interact runtime environment is correctly installed:
    1. Access the Unica Interact runtime URL by using a supported web browser.
      The runtime URL is:
      http://host.domain.com:port/interact/jsp/admin.jsp
      where host.domain.com is the computer where UnicaInteract is installed and port is the port number on which the Interact application server is listening.
    2. Click Interact Initialization Status.
    If the Unica Interact server is running correctly, UnicaInteract responds with the following message:
    System initialized with no errors!

    If the initialization fails, review the installation procedure and confirm that you followed all the instructions.
