Unica Deliver is a web-based, enterprise scale marketing message solution that you can use to conduct outbound bulk messaging and transactional messaging campaigns. Deliver integrates with Unica Campaign and with secure message composition, transmission, and tracking resources that are hosted by Unica.

  Unica Deliver is a web-based, enterprise scale marketing message solution that you can use to conduct outbound bulk messaging and transactional messaging campaigns.   If you install and enable Unica Deliver within Campaign, then you can create a list that defines the recipients for a personalized messaging campaign.   Digital marketers construct email, landing pages, WhatsApp messages, and text messages in Unica Deliver in the Deliver Message Editor. Marketers without specific HTML editing experience can create valid, full-featured HTML email and landing pages with the editing and personalization tools in the Message Editor.

  Email and landing page templates are documents that you create outside of the Deliver Message Editor to define the layout of personalized email, hosted landing pages. The design of the template guides the design of the message. To create personalized email, marketers add content to the template by modifying the template or by using editing tools that are provided in the Message Editor.

  The Deliver Message Editor provide several ways to insert images and videos into personalized messages. You can add images and videos from the Content Library or add them from external sources when you send each message.

Apply link attributes and inline styles to control how the links appear and how the target of the links display. Deliver tracks link clicks and stores the data in the Deliver system tables.

  Use the Preview feature in the Message Editor to see how a personalized message might appear to message recipients. Preview simulates how personalized parts of the Deliver document used to create the email, landing page, SMS, WhatsApp may change according to the personal characteristics of each recipient.

  Publishing the communication in the Deliver Message Editor makes the communication and the resources it contains available for use in a personalized message or landing page. Publishing a communication does not transmit the communication to message recipients or landing page visitors.   Personalization fields provide the means to add recipient-specific information from your marketing database to a SMS, email, WhatsApp, push notifications . Personalization fields are also used in rules that control how conditionalized content displays in each personalized message.

  Deliver provides a template-based scripting language for creating self-contained scripts that provide a way to personalize content in ways that you cannot easily duplicate in the Deliver Message Editor.

  You can add offers that you define in Unica Campaign to personalized email that you create and send through Unica Deliver. Including offers in your marketing email gives you an opportunity to deliver a timely and targeted call to action to your audience. The system collects the offer responses and makes the data available in the Campaign contact and response history for use in Campaign performance reports.

    Deliver provides various reports to help you analyze your mailings from several perspectives, including mailing performance, mailing execution history, message deliverability, and how recipients view your marketing messages.

      You can access performance reports from the Deliver Analytics page. To run a report, you must specify a campaign in Unica Campaign and select one or more mailing instances that are associated with the campaign.

      In Unica Campaign, each campaign contains the Analysis tab to access information about campaigns, offers, cells, or segments. When you enable Deliver in Campaign, the Analysis tab provides access to Deliver performance reports.

      You view Deliver performance reports in the HCL Unica interface. When it displays a performance report, HCL Unica provides various report controls and a reports toolbar to allow you to select viewing options.

      Dashboards are configurable pages that contain information useful to groups of users who fill various roles within your company. The components that make up dashboards are called portlets. The Deliver reports pack contains two pre-defined dashboard portlets that you can configure for your installation.

    The Deliver Reports Processing Overview describes the status and previous results for batch processing contact and response data that is generated by email marketing campaigns. The system processes the latest contact and response data with scheduled database stored procedures.     The Detailed Link Report provides link response data for Deliver mailings that are associated with a specific campaign. The report provides detailed link click-through data for links in email messages, and for hosted landing pages that are linked to the email.

    The A/B Testing Performance Report provides detailed mailing and response data that are generated by a single A/B test. You can run the report at any time before or after the system declares a test winner and completes the mailing.

Accessing reports from links in mailings and other reports

You can access some Deliver reports from links in Deliver mailings and other Deliver reports. Accessing a report from a link frequently presents the report differently than if you accessed the report from the Deliver Analytics page.

For example, when you select the Detailed Link report from the Deliver Analytics page, you can see results for multiple mailing instances. However, the Message Overview report also contains a links to the Detailed Link report. When you access the Detailed Link report from the Message Overview report, the Detailed Link report presents results only for mailing instance that you selected in the overview report.
