Security breach when using Unica Campaign with impersonation on RHEL3

Problem or error: On Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 3, when you configure Unica Campaign so that each flowchart opens and runs with the operating system permissions of the user currently running the flowchart, rather than of the user who started the Unica Campaign listener, each flowchart opens and runs as the root user, with root permissions, rather than as the appropriate individual user, with that user's permissions.

Solution On Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 3 only, if the Unica Campaign listener is run as root, there is a defect in the operating system calls that Unica Campaign employs to perform this impersonation step. This issue is a defect in RHEL3 and it affects any version of Unica Campaign deployed on that platform.

This issue has been corrected in RHEL4. If this is an issue in your installation, contact Technical support for more information.
