What's new in 10.0.0?

IBM Traveler 10.0.0 provides the following new server features and enhancements for administrators.

Push Status API

A PushStatus API has been added to the IBM Traveler Administration APIs. This API supplies the in-memory snap shot of user and device push status information. Information includes whether a device has a pending sync, whether a device is enabled for push, applications to synchronize, and so forth. For more information, see the IBM Traveler Administration API documentation available on the Support site.

Support for IBM AIX operating systems

Traveler now supports installation on IBM Domino running on AIX. For the supported OS levels and changes to any other system requirements, refer to the IBM Traveler 10 system requirements.

Traveler Statistics monitoring

IBM Domino 10 provides the ability to publish Domino statistics to an external monitoring service such as New Relic. Included is a statistics dashboard page for IBM Traveler servers. Example charts are included for the Traveler Availability index, Device Syncs and Responses, among others. For information, see the What's new section of the IBM Domino 10 documentation.

IMSA server installation no longer required for IBM Mail for Microsoft Outlook

With Traveler 10 on a Domino 10 server there is no longer a separate IMSA server installation to support IBM Mail for Microsoft Outlook (IMSMO) devices. All you complete are configuration steps. For more information, see the section IBM Mail Support Microsoft Outlook (Administering) section of the Domino 10 documentation.

tell traveler support

The tell traveler pmr command is deprecated. It is replaced by tell traveler support <case number>, for example, tell traveler support TS123456789. The case number is validated to be in the form.
