This guide describes how to install HCL OneTest™ API. After you install the software, you can perform administration tasks such as configuration and integration of the product. This guide is intended for administrators.
Uninstalling the product software
When you no longer require the software, you can use either IBM® Installation Manager or the stand-alone installer to uninstall the products that you have installed.
Uninstalling the product software on Windows
You can find information about uninstalling the product software on Windows by using either the stand-alone installer or the Windows uninstall option. You can choose to uninstall the software by using any of the uninstallation methods regardless of the mode in which the software was installed.

  HCL Quality Server is a server-based web application providing a central repository for virtualized services. The HCL Quality Server allows you to use virtual services published with HCL OneTest™ API to create, share, and deploy virtualized test environments in HCL OneTest Virtualization.

  HCL OneTest™ API supports integration with various other tools for quality management, change management, software configuration management, and deployment automation tools such as UrbanCode™ Deploy.

Uninstalling the product software by using the Windows uninstall option

When you want to remove the product software that is installed on a Windows computer, you can use the Windows uninstall option. You can choose to uninstall the software by using any of the uninstallation methods regardless of the mode in which the software was installed.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:
- Closed the application.
- Stopped all the other applications that are enabled by the product.
You must have the required privileges.

Procedure

Click the Start option on the taskbar, and then click the Add or remove programs option.

The Apps & Features page is displayed.
Click the product software that you want to remove.
Click Uninstall.

A dialog is displayed.
Click Uninstall and follow the on-screen instructions.

Results

You have uninstalled the product software from your computer.
