Extending Beyond standard relational database objects, HCL OneDB™ can be extended to handle specialized data types, access methods, routines, and other objects. HCL OneDB™ includes many built-in extensions that are fully integrated in the database server. HCL OneDB™ also provides modules, which are packages of extended database objects for a particular purpose and that are installed separately from the database server. Alternatively, you can create your own user-defined objects for HCL OneDB™.

ElemIsHidden function

The ElemIsHidden function determines if an element is hidden.

Syntax

ElemIsHidden(ts     TimeSeries, 
            offset integer) 
returns Boolean;

ElemIsHidden(ts     TimeSeries, 
            tstamp datetime year to fraction(5)) 
returns Boolean;

ts: The time series to act on.
offset: The offset of the element to examine.
tstamp: The time stamp of the element to examine.

Description

Use either offset or time stamp to locate the element you want to examine.

Returns

Returns TRUE if the element is hidden and FALSE if it is not.
