About this task

Use the command-line deployment utility to deploy a snapshot of HCL OneDB™ and create a new instance as a quick alternative to traditional installation, especially for deployments to many computers. You can configure the snapshot so that the instance is ready to meet your requirements immediately after deployment.

You can customize an RPM Package Manager image of the HCL OneDB installation and then distribute the image to other locations on supported Linux™ platforms.
