Server groups

Server groups define collections of servers for which different values of configuration variables might be desired.

For example, you might create two server groups, one named 'Test' and the other 'Production. Then, you might want servers in the 'Test' group to access a particular instance of a database while servers in the 'Production' group access a different instance. You can accomplish this by defining server groups, and by defining differing values for each server group in a configuation variable.
