    You can test a schema by generating test data for an item or a group. The schema designer creates source and compiled maps that generate and validate the test data. The test-data-generation map automatically runs and produces a text file with the sample data. After that, the test-data-validation map automatically runs on the sample data file.

NONE > Required on input and Zero > Required on input

Select a value from the Required on input property list.

Yes: If the data object is NONE or Zero, the map uses the value in the Special Value property when it validates the item in the input.
No: Do not use the value in the Special Value property. No special values or input requirements are defined when data is NONE or Zero.
When the map builds the item in the output, the item might be either the value in the Special Value property or the default value for NONE or Zero. For example, if an item contains all pad characters and no actual data, the default value for NONE is used when that item is built in the output.
