Procedure

To run the Auto Map:
  1. Open the executable or functional map in the Map editor.
  2. The Auto-mapper will attempt to map from all the inputs that are displayed in the mapping area. Add any cards which you wish to be considered for auto-mapping to the mapping area by selecting 'Add' on cards in the Structure panel.
  3. Click the Auto Map button to launch the Auto-mapper.
  4. The Auto-mapper will show
    • The best match for each target field together with the percentage score for the match. The higher the number, the better the match. A score of 100 means that the field name and type matched exactly.
    • If there are multiple possible matches for a field, the lines are shown in red to indicate a conflict.
  5. To remove low-scoring matches enter a value in the Score Threshold. Any matches with scores lower than the threshold will not be displayed.
  6. To remove any match click on the red cross icon to delete the connection.
  7. To map fields manually, drag a field from an input to the output.
  8. Once you are satisfied with the mappings, click Done to return to the map where the changes will be applied. If you want to cancel the auto-mapping click the Close button to return to the map.
