Link shared or static versions
To tell the esql command to link the
thread-safe versions of the HCL Informix® libraries into
your application, use the -thread command-line option of esql,
as follows:
- Thread-safe shared libraries require the -thread command-line option only.
- Thread-safe static libraries require the -thread and -static command-line options.
