About this task
To install your newer DataBlade® module
on a Windows™ computer:
Procedure
- Log in as a member of the Informix-Admin group.
- Perform one of the following tasks depending on how you
obtain the software:
- CD-ROM: Move to the CD-ROM directory.
- Electronic download: Follow the directions on the download
site to download the product file.
- Run the executable command.
- Confirm the installation directory.
By default,
the value of the INFORMIXDIR environment variable
for the database server installation is selected. You can specify
a different Informix® instance.
- Complete the installation.
