Adding Stages to an application
It is often desirable to have an application, or form, transition through a set of phases or stages. At each stage the form might be used by different people in different roles. The form also might be presented in a slightly different manner in each stage, such as having some items or pages hidden, or in a read-only state.
Redirecting users after form submission
The administrator of an HCL Domino Volt application can add a URL that is triggered when a form is submitted.

Redirecting users after form submission

The administrator of an HCL Domino Volt application can add a URL that is triggered when a form is submitted.

About this task

You can set Domino Volt to redirect the user to another URL upon form submission. The URL can take users to a web page, a portal page within WebSphere® Portal , or another Domino Volt application. Redirecting users a secondary URL is useful if the user must complete another application that is directly related to the first. The user is redirected to the second URL in a dialog when the first form is submitted.

Procedure

Click the Stages tab.
Expand the desired stage. Click the properties icon for the Submit Action.
On the Basic tab, enter the full URL in the Action Completion Redirect URL (optional): field.
For example, http://www.hcl.com, not hcl.com.
