    LotusScript® Extensions for Connectors (LC LSX) enhances the power of Notes® by extending its scripting to data outside of Notes through the use of Connectors. The programming model is independent of the individual connector.         This script executes when a field is entered and displays a message if the result set column with the same name has changed. The form that contains the button contains other scripts that declare global variables, load the result set, and process the result set. The global declarations and a portion of the Postopen script are shown.

        Indicates whether a column value is a null data value.

        Sets the current row position to the last row in the result set.

        Identifies records that match a specified field value.

        Sets the current row position to the next row in a result set.

IsValueAltered (ODBCResultSet - LotusScript)

Indicates whether a column value was altered by SetValue.

Syntax

flag% = odbcResultSet . IsValueAltered( column_id% )

flag% = odbcResultSet . IsValueAltered( column_Name$ )

Parameters

column_id%

Integer. The ID of a column. Use any numeric data type, except Currency.

column_Name$

String. The name of a column.

Return value

True indicates that the value of this cell in the current row was set by SetValue
False indicates that the value was not set by SetValue, and is still as fetched (or as initiated in the AddRow workspace)

Usage

After becoming True, this flag remains True until an UpdateRow or DeleteRow operation. A Close operation deletes the entire result set.
