Testing

The CSS and markup used to build ICS UI is tested across browsers, in right-to-left languages, and in high contrast mode. Releases are generally tested according to the following plan:

• Primary Testing
• Internet Explorer 7
• Internet Explorer 8
• Internet Explorer 9
• Firefox 3.6
• Latest golden release of Firefox at the time of test
• Some Testing (as time permits)
• Latest golden release of Safari at the time of test
• Latest golden release of Chrome at the time of test
• Very Little Testing (as time permits)
• Internet Explorer 6 (UI is expected to be degraded and may look significantly different than modern browsers.)
• Latest golden release of Opera at the time of test

High Contrast accessibility testing is performed on the latest golden release of Firefox on at the time of test.

Accessibility scans are performed using Rational Policy Tester with the latest detection rules at the time of test.
