CreateXSLTransformer (NotesSession - LotusScript®)

Creates a NotesXSLTransformer object.

Note: This method is new with Release 6.
Note: This method is not supported in COM.

Syntax

Set notesXSLTransformer = notesSession .CreateXSLTransformer( [ input [, styleSheet [, output ] ] ])

Parameters

input

Optional. A string or an object of the following type:
  • NotesDOMParser (pipelines from another NotesDOMParser object)
  • NotesDXLExporter (pipelines from a NotesDXLExporter object)
  • NotesSAXParser (pipelines from a NotesSAXParser object)
  • NotesStream
  • NotesXSLTransformer (pipelines from another NotesXSLTransformer object)

styleSheet

Optional. An object of the following type:
  • NotesStream

output

Optional. An object of the following type:
  • NotesDOMParser (pipelines to another NotesDOMParser object)

  • NotesRichTextItem
  • NotesSAXParser (pipelines to a NotesSAXParser object)
  • NotesStream
  • NotesXSLTransformer (pipelines to another NotesXSLTransformer object)

Return value

notesXSLTransformer

The newly created object.

Usage

You cannot explicitly read or write a NotesStream object associated with a file prior to using it for XML input or output. For example, if you write to a file then use it for XML input, you must close and reopen the NotesStream object.
