Chapter 5 Connector for DB2®
This chapter provides information about the Connector for DB2®, including descriptions of the fields in the connection document.
XML Data Types
You can install the DB2® XML Extender in addition to other DB2 Enterprise Edition products. The XML Extender provides three XML data types - XMLVARCHAR, XMLCLOB, and XMLFILE. The Connector for DB2 supports the XMLVARCHAR and XMLCLOB types. It does not support the XMLFILE type.

XML Data Types

When using LotusScript®, XML data types should be stored in LCFields of type LCTYPE_TEXT.
