If a table extends over several pages in documents, it
is useful to repeat the header row at the top of each page automatically.
So the table header row stays there no matter what changes you make
in the table.
Procedure
- Select the table header row.
- Click .
- Select the Repeat header row at top of each
page check box.
Note:
- After you change the content of the header row, the content of
each repeated row will change accordingly.
- When you copy and paste a table, or, add, delete or insert a row
or several rows in the repeated header row, the property of repeat
table header row will keep unchanged.
- It only works on the header row, rather than other rows, and only
on tables cross pages, rather than tables just in one page.
- When inserting a page break or section break, the table will be
split into two tables, and the property of repeat table header row
will be removed from the separated one (the second table).
