Post-uninstall cleanup

If you intend to reinstall HCL Docs, perform several cleanup steps to ensure a successful reinstallation.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console (ICS) and go to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application Server and delete the following servers:
    • IBMDocsMember1
    • IBMViewerMember1
    • Conversion
  2. In the WebSphere ICS, go to Servers > Server Types > WebSphere proxy servers and delete IBMDocsProxyMember1.
  3. Go to Servers > Clusters > WebSphere application server clusters and delete the following clusters:
    • IBMConversionCluster
    • IBMDocsCluster
    • IBMViewerCluster
  4. Go to Servers > Clusters > Proxy server clusters and delete IBMDocsProxyCluster.
  5. In Applications > WebSphere enterprise applications, delete the following applications:
    • IBMConversion
    • IBMConversionSanity
    • IBMDocs
    • IBMDocsSanity
    • IBMDocsWebResources
    • Spellcheck4IBMDocs
    • ViewerApp
    • ViewerSanity
  6. In Resources > JDBC > Data sources, delete the "docs" data source.
  7. In Security > Global security > Java Authentication and Authorization Service > J2C authentication data, delete the following aliases:
    • DocsJAASAuth
    • docsAdmin
    • viewerAdmin
  8. In Environment > WebSphere Variables, delete the following variables:
    • CONVERSION_INSTALL_ROOT
    • DOCS_INSTALL_ROOT
    • DOCS_JDBC_DRIVER_HOME
    • DOCS_SERVERCLUSTER_NAME
    • DOCS_SHARE
    • DOCS_SHARED_DATA_NAME
    • DOCS_SHARED_DATA_ROOT
    • VIEWER_INSTALL_ROOT
    • VIEWER_SHARE
    • VIEWER_SHARED_DATA_NAME
    • VIEWER_SHARED_DATA_ROOT
  9. In Service integration > Buses, delete the following buses:
    • IBMDocsBus
    • ViewerBus
  10. Log into the operating system where Docs is installed and delete the following directories:
    • {DOCS_INSTALL_DIR}/ConnectionsDocs
    • {CONVERSION_INSTALL_DIR}/IBMConversion
