IBM® supports several SMB server products that make Linux and UNIX file systems accessible from Windows computers.

About this task

If you use an SMB server product, you must do the following:

Install it on each IBM host running Linux or the UNIX system that supports a VOB or view that you would like to access from Windows computers
Configure each installation to meet the special requirements of DevOps Code ClearCase®.
