    Find out which application you should use, and learn what an external user can do with HCL Connections™

      Control how and when you receive email notifications by setting preferences on the Email Notifications tab. Enable or disable notification emails from other users, set the language that you want to receive notifications in, and specify what email address you want them sent to.

  Use blogs to share your announcements, updates, and opinions with others.

  Share information, brainstorm ideas, ask and answer questions, and discuss topics of mutual interest in a forum.

- Bookmarks
  Use Bookmarks to collect and organize shortcuts to websites.

Changing the display language

Change the user interface language and configure bidirectional text so that HCL Connections™is displayed in your preferred language.

Changing the language

Click the language selector menu in the navigation bar.
Select a language from the list.
If the list does not include your preferred language, but your preferred language is defined in the locale setting of your web browser, select Browser Setting.

Configuring bidirectional text

Click Settings In your Profile menu in the Connections toolbar.
Click Globalization in the Settings window.
From the Calendar list, Select a suitable calendar to match the bidirectional setting. For example, if you plan to enable right-to-left text, and if your language setting is Arabic, select the Hijri calendar.
Select the Enable bdirectional text check box.
Select a value from the Direction of user-generated text list.
Click Save.
