Importing query results into Microsoft® Excel
You can import the query results into a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet by using the query Web address. Only Microsoft® Excel 2002 and 2003 are supported.

About this task
In HCL Compass, you can import query results into Microsoft® Excel using the query Web address. In HCL Compass, you can export query results directly from HCL Compass to a text file or a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet. See Exporting the contents of result sets.
To import query results into Microsoft® Excel:
Procedure
- Run the query. Create a bookmark for the Web address or add it to your Favorites list.
- In Microsoft® Excel, create a
new workbook.
- In the window that opens, determine where to put the imported data and click OK.
