Searching for text in a result set

You can search the text in record fields that are included in a result-set grid.

About this task

To search the text in record fields of a result set:

Procedure

  1. Run a query that returns a result set on the Result set tab.
  2. Click Edit > Find.
  3. In the Find what field of the Find Window, type the text to search for.
  4. Click Up or Down to indicate the direction of the search. The default is Down.
  5. Optional: To make the search case sensitive, select the Match case check box.
  6. Click Find Next.
    The first record in the result set that contains the specified text is highlighted on the Result set tab, and the record appears in the record form.
  7. To continue the search, click Find Next.
