Able to support hundreds of thousands of transactions per day, HCL Commerce allows you to do business with consumers (B2C) or directly with businesses (B2B). HCL Commerce uses cloud friendly technology to make deployment and operation both easy and efficient. It provides easy-to-use tools for business users to centrally manage a cross-channel strategy. Business users can create and manage precision marketing campaigns, promotions, catalog, and merchandising across all sales channels. The offline Feature Pack 6 database is the Feature Pack 6 database that you restored to your HCL Commerce Version 9 environment.
        Migrating your live database
        Migrate your live IBM Websphere Commerce Version 7 environment by putting your IBM Websphere Commerce Version 7 live store in maintenance mode, and pointing your HCL Commerce Version 9.0.0.1+ environment to the live IBM Websphere Commerce Version 7 database.
        Migrating encrypted data
        When migrating IBM Websphere Commerce Version 7 to HCL Commerce Version 9.0 you must migrate your encrypted data. Previous versions of WebSphere Commerce allowed for your site to use 3DES (16bit merchantKey) or AES (32bit merchantKey) encryption. In HCL Commerce Version 9.0, only AES encryption is used.
        Building and deploying to your production environment
        The updated model for building and deploying to your production environment involves the creation and deployment of custom Docker containers that contain the various components of your HCL Commerce production environment. Once created, deploy the containers into your production environment to stand up your live HCL Commerce Version 9 site.
