Tutorial: Creating views for multiple catalogs in a store

In this tutorial, you learn how to create multiple catalogs for your store, and views for those catalogs. You create links from your store home page to each catalog view you create. Creating views for multiple catalogs provides you the ability to modify your store to display a specific sales catalog when a customer uses the URL you provide for the catalog.

If you have one holiday sales catalog and one spring sales catalog and you want customers to view these catalogs separately, you can create multiple catalogs, instead of creating two separate stores with each catalog as the store master catalog. In the separate catalog views you create, you can add links to the store master catalog, allowing customers to view all your items in your sales and master catalogs.
