Installing WebSphere Commerce Developer
Depending on the size of your organization, there are two options available to you for installing WebSphere Commerce Developer. In a large development organization, you might want to create a common central repository so that you can set up and manage multiple identical development environments. If this option is not appropriate for your organization, you can instead install WebSphere Commerce Developer on each individual workstation.

You can use the IBM Packaging Utility to maintain your central repository.

You can use the utility to remove any software packages you wish from the repository.

You can use the utility to remove any software packages you wish from the repository.

Procedure

Run the IBM Packaging Utility.
Click Copy Packages.
Click Open Repository.
Browse to the location of your central repository and select repository.config, click OK.
The source window now shows all the products that are included in the repository. Select one or more software packages that you wish to delete and click Next.
Review the summary panel and click Delete to start the deletion process.
Once successful, click Finish and close the utility.

The software packages are removed from the central repository.
