- Introduction
  This guide explains additional configuration steps that you can run in your environment after installation.
- BigFix Site Administrator and Console Operators
  In BigFix there are two basic classes of users.

  You can add Identity Providers associations to BigFix.

Integrating with Microsoft Entra ID

You can use Microsoft Entra to handle authentication on BigFix.

With the release of BigFix Platform Version 11 Patch 2, you can now integrate Microsoft Entra ID as a new identity provider directly from the BigFix Console.

This integration allows for efficient authentication management using Microsoft Entra ID credentials, providing users with secure and convenient access to BigFix resources. With this integration, administrators can streamline access management processes, enhance overall security, and offer greater flexibility to users in how they access and utilize the BigFix Platform.

The configuration needed to integrate Microsoft Entra ID as a new identity provider is a two step process. First, you must configure the BigFix App from the Microsoft Entra Gallery as described in BigFix App Registration on Microsoft Entra ID and, then, perform the Identity Provider configuration in the BigFix Platform as described in Adding Microsoft Entra ID as Identity Provider.
