Deleting a network share

Deleting a network share involves removing the shared folder or directory from the network, effectively revoking access to its contents for other users or devices.

About this task

Deploy the applicable Fixlet task to delete the network share settings.

Procedure

From the Patch Management domain, go to Patches for Windows (English) site > Fixlets and Tasks. Select the applicable Delete Network Share Fixlet. For example, Fixlet ID 365017: Delete Network Share for Office 365 - Office 2013.
Click Take Action and click OK.
Select the applicable device and click OK.

Results

You have removed the network share settings.
