Migrating BigFix Inventory
Migration can be limited to a scenario of moving BigFix inventory database from one server to another or migrating the whole BigFix deployment from one type of operating system to another.
In the below table, you can find summary of possible migration scenarios with reference to the procedure:

Additional remarks
- Moving BigFix Platform Agent between BigFix Platform Servers is recognized as a removed device on source and new on destination. The same will be observed in BigFix Inventory when both Platform servers are visible in a single BigFix Inventory. Any classification will be lost. Can be migrated following the Tutorial: Migrating software assignments between two BigFix Inventory servers and using computer_id as the reference for source / target computers.
