Logging out of the AppScan Enterprise Server

When you are running AppScan® Source for Development in server mode, you can disconnect from the Enterprise Server directly from the AppScan Source for Development user interface.

To log out of the server, select Security Analysis > HCL AppScan Source > Log Out from Server from the main menu. Once logged out, you will be prompted to log back in to the server if you attempt to use any action that requires a connection to the server (for example, launch a scan).

Note: If your team employs floating licenses, a scanning license will be acquired when you first start running a scan. That license is automatically released when you log out from the server, returning it to the pool available to other team members.
