Storage affects of auto-create

Each Anomaly Detection calculation generates another row in the database.

  • For the above data set, the number of rows that are generated per run is 500,000 new rows.

Data retention

Anomaly Detection data is retained based on the configured setting for data retention.

  • Anomaly Detection (daily)-Days Retain - Number of days to retain daily Anomaly Detection data
    • (365 is the default setting)
  • Anomaly Detection (hourly)-Days Retain - Number of days to retain hourly Anomaly Detection data
    • (120 is the default setting)

Anomaly Detection data trimming must be enabled, or data is never trimmed.
