Windows Support for your Amazon EKS Cluster
If you use Amazon Web Services EKS, you cannot use Windows-managed nodes.
Launching Self-managed Windows Nodes
After the nodes join the cluster, deploy Kubernetes applications on the nodes. To launch self-managed Windows nodes, use either eksctl or AWS Management Console.
