Installing the Network Capture Application
The following instructions can be used to assist the installation of your Network Capture Application software.
Package Installation
The following information describes the Unica DiscoverNetwork Capture Application installation package.
Failover installation
For failover, there are Primary and Standby DNCAs in the cloud but on separate host servers. The DNCAs should be on separate servers because if both DNCAs were on the same server the failover won't work.

For failover, you must have two DNCAs and one SPR (Software Packet Replicator).

Installing DNCAs for Failover on-cloud

For failover, you must have two DNCAs and one SPR (Software Packet Replicator).

Procedure

Install the DNCAs.

Log in to the DNCA server by using root account.
Install the DNCA by using one of these commands:
```
rpm -ivh Discover-DNCA-<build>-<release>.<distro>.<arch>.rpm 
```
or
```
yum install Discover-DNCA-<build>-<release>.<distro>.<arch>.rpm
```
Where:
1. <build> is the build version number
2. <release> is the release version number
3. <distro> is the linux distribution such as RHEL8
4. <arch> is the architecture such as i386, i686, i586
