Configuring the DNCA
The Unica Discover Network Capture Application can be configured through a web-based console or through the configuration files that are stored on the DNCA server. The following information guides you on how to configure the DNCA.

      If you cannot login to the web console, you can edit dcx-conf.xml to configure the Unica Discover Network Capture Application.

Configuration via Web Console

The DNCA web console provides a convenient graphical interface for monitoring and configuring the Unica Discover Network Capture Application and its connections.

Note: All configuration settings that are required to initialize the Unica Discover Network Capture Application are available through the Web Console.

Note: The Network Capture Application web console does not support entering multibyte characters into a field. If you want to configure a setting with multibyte characters, you must edit the configuration. For more information about editing the configuration file, see Configuration via dcx-conf.xml.
