Selecting the HCL VersionVault registry server
Before running any of the installation programs, you must select a host to be your HCL VersionVault registry server. As the installation prompts you for this information, you must prepare this host beforehand.

A license server host provides HCL VersionVault license access in a network. A license server host must be highly available to all hosts that rely on it for its licensing. Otherwise, those hosts become unable to run HCL VersionVault.

One or more hosts in the network can act as license server hosts.
