Semi-live reformatVOB completion cleanup steps

The following are the cleanup steps of the semi-live reformatVOB completion process:

• Under normal circumstances, before the semi-live reformatVOB process starts, the db database directory exists in the VOB storage directory.
• When the semi-live reformatVOB initiating phase is completed, the following directories exist:
  • db
  • db.semilive

  The db directory is the original db directory, and the db.semilive is the new database.

• When the semi-live reformatVOB process is completed using the default command-line options, the following database directories exist in the VOB storage directory:
  • db
  • db.semilive_old.06.07

  The db directory is the newly reformatted database (previously db.semilive), and the directory db.semilive_old.06.07 is the original db directory, renamed to indicate that the semi-live reformatVOB process was completed on 07 June.

• Once the newly reformatted VOB database is verified, the HCL VersionVault administrator must go into the VOB storage directory and remove the db.semilive_old.06.07 directory.
