On Windows®, the HCL VersionVault albd_server program runs with the identity of a special user account known as the HCL VersionVault server process user.

The HCL VersionVault server process user account is usually created during site preparation. This user is a member of the HCL VersionVault administrators group, which grants privileged user status.
